Prior to your 90 minute initial session, you will receive an intake form to complete and return before to your appointment (including a dosha quiz which will help us to better understand your unique ayurvedic constitution of vata, pitta and kapha).
Based on the information from your intake form, we will discuss your lifestyle, any issues you’re experiencing and want to address, and your end goals. From an Ayurvedic perspective, we will look at your energy level, diet, sleep, yoga practices, and other parts of your life that may be the root cause of imbalances. Together we’ll create a daily routine (called dinacharya) that will bring more regularity and balance to your life. We may suggest certain foods, herbs and body treatments to support your healing. Follow up appointments will be used to discuss what worked well/what didn’t work well for you, challenges and successes you encountered, and to fine-tune your daily routine to support continued growth. |
